Once again expanding the range of calibers available for the PGM Ultima Ratio and the PGM Ludis, this new barrel guarantees exceptional performances up to 1300 yards (1,200 meters).
Developed by Hornady and marketed since 2017, the caliber 6mm Creedmoor caliber is based on a modern concept derived from the caliber 6.5 Creedmoor. Its case has been modified by narrowing the neck to accommodate 6 mm projectiles with high ballistic coefficients.
This caliber offers the advantages of a flat trajectory, high muzzle velocity (2900 to 3200 ft/s, or 890 to 980 m/s) and, as a result, supersonic velocity over long distances, as well as very low recoil. These advantages come, however, at the cost of a shorter barrel life.
The PGM Ultima Ratio is a high-precision multi-caliber rifle that allows for barrel interchangeability in 30 seconds. It is equipped with a 10-round magazine, a bolt-side folding stock, a PGM monopod, and an ARCA interface bipod that can be attached along the entire length of the handguard. This is PGM Précision’s iconic model.
