On June 4th to 7th, the 2025 edition of the “Prince of 1500m” competition was held in Caylus (Occitanie region of France).
PGM Précision was once again in the spotlight at this event which brought together over 80 French and European long range shooting teams. The duo of Jordan Revel and Silvain Monney brilliantly took 1st place in the competition, equipped with a PGM Mini Hécate II rifle.
PGM Précision rifles also took 3rd and 5th places, imbuing PGM Précision with the majority of places in the top 5 of the final ranking!
The “Prince of 1500m” is recognized as one of France’s most demanding long range shooting competitions.
It is organized every year in Caylus by the MIKE Group, and enables the best long range shooting teams to compete over distances ranging from 700 to 1500 metres. One of its special characteristics is that all competitors must shoot with .338 LM rifles.
Initially designed for military use, for shooting at longer distances than the Ultima Ratio, the Mini Hécate II combines exceptional quality, state-of-the-art precision and great ergonomics.
Available in a wide range of calibers (338 Lapua Magnum, 375 Swiss P, 338 NM, 300 NM, 300 PRC), this rifle is available with a Custom barrel profile specially designed for sport shooting and competition. Capable of meeting the requirements of the most demanding sports shooters, the Mini Hécate II’s custom barrel is available in lengths of 81 cm (calibers 338 LM | 375 Swiss P | 300 NM | 300 PRC) or 86 cm (caliber 375 Swiss P).
